Alexandra de Zoete trained for four years at the City and Guilds of London Art School, graduating in 1995 with 2:1 degree in decorative Art and Design. She then furthered her experience for two years in furniture restoration. During this time she built up her knowledge of traditional craftsmanship and decorative techniques required for the design of classic and contemporary styled furniture. This led to teaching gilding at Jocasta Innes' Paint magic shops in the UK Alexandra's work has been published in "Paint Recipes," and "In Your Own Write," by Jocasta Innes.

After six years of experience in the Decorative Art world, Alexandra established her own studio on the Portobello Road, London. Clients and Interior Decorators enjoy visiting her courtyard studio to discuss commissions and to see her latest designs.
